For the 27th consecutive year, Henry Schein helped children around the world to start the academic year off right through our “Back to School” program. Team Schein Members (TSMs) at nearly 40 locations provided more than 5,000 students with backpacks filled with school supplies and hygiene essentials. Check out the latest activity:

• At our Distribution Center in Denver, Pennsylvania, TSMs packed 350 backpacks for the Children’s Home of Reading, Pennsylvania.
• At our global headquarters in Melville, New York, TSMs packed 400 backpacks for various Long Island-based social service organizations.
• Our Indianapolis-based Distribution Center team packed 300 backpacks for the Pike County Trustees Office and students in need at nearby elementary schools.
• Our Belfast, Northern Ireland-based team provided 25 backpacks to Aspire NI, an organization based in Portadown, Northern Ireland, that supports children in adverse situations.
• TSMs in Dublin, Ireland, donated 25 backpacks to children in need through Barnardos, a local nonprofit organization.
• Our Niagara-on-the-Lake, Canada-based team recently welcomed 150 students and their families to our corporate office and distribution center where they received a backpack and school supplies and enjoyed food, games, and fun.
• Montreal, Canada-based TSMs recently partnered with La Relance, a community-based educational organization, to host 50 children and their families for a fun-filled event during which the children enjoyed games and crafts and received backpacks, shoes, and dental kits.
