This summer, Henry Schein hosted a four-week Summer Step Challenge & Fundraiser in support of Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC UK), a charitable organization devoted to raising awareness, funding research, and providing support to families affected by the devastating occurrence when a seemingly healthy child goes to sleep and never wakes up. This was the case for Benjamin, the child of one of Henry Schein’s own Team Schein Members (TSMs), Laura Trahearn. Laura has been a passionate advocate for SUDC UK, and this cause is close to the hearts of many TSMs. The mission was to unite as a team, conquer a collective step and fundraising goal, and ignite some friendly competition along the way. With dedication and enthusiasm, Henry Schein stepped up to the challenge and achieved remarkable results. The challenge was straightforward: form a walking pod and get moving! The winning team would be the one that achieved the highest step count and raised the most funds for SUDC UK. During the four-week challenge, Team Schein walked 31,419,587 steps and raised an incredible £7,613! The numbers speak volumes about the Team Schein Spirit!.;
