Indicated for reversing soft-tissue anesthesia and the associated deficits from an intraoral submucosal injection of a local anesthetic containing a vasoconstrictor. Patients experience a return-to-normal sensation and function in about half the time. Application in patients under the age of 3 or weighing less than 33 Lb. has not been established.
