2. How does β-LIFTx® compare to old Beta-Lift®? There has been no change to the original formulation. There is a difference in the box color, which formerly was gold and is now gray. There is the addition of a post procedure moisturizer and there is more acid in the vial so you can treat a larger area.
3. How can I market β-LIFTx® in my practice? There are many key selling points that make this an attractive procedure for many patients in your practice:
4. Does β-LIFTx® require a neutralizer? Salicylic acid peels are self-limiting, so they don’t require neutralization.
5. How long does the β-LIFTx® treatment take? The procedure takes 5 to 10 minutes total and has little to no downtime.
6. How frequently can β-LIFTx® be applied? β-LIFTx® Salicylic Acid Peels can be done in intervals of 3–4 weeks in a series of four to six peels as many patients don't typically start to see significant results until the third or fourth peel.
7. What skin types can β-LIFTx® be used safely? This product is versatile and safe for use on all skin types on the Fitzpatrick Scale I-VI.
8. What side effects can my patients expect? See β-LIFTx® PEEL PROCEDURE See Managing Expectations
9. Who should I avoid treating with β-LIFTx®? SEE CONTRAINDICATIONS
10. Are there other considerations that I should take into account when using a salicylic acid peel? SEE EVALUATIONS
11. Can my patient get β-LIFTx® at a spa or online for home use? β-LIFTx® Salicylic Acid Peels is sold to licensed physicians or med spas with affiliations with licensed physicians. This product is not intended for resale to consumers, non-medical affiliated spas, salons, etc.
12. How does β-LIFTx® compare to other peels on the market? There are many formulations in the marketplace that range in strength/concentration, as well as vary in application, and many peels are available over-the-counter or blended with other acids. β-LIFTx® is time-tested with proven efficacy and patient satisfaction. The packaging as complete kit is hygienic, convenient, and makes it easy to calculate your cost per procedure versus return on investment. See CHEMICAL PEELS BY APPLICATION.
13. What types of conditions respond well to β-LIFTx®? B-Lift is not a drug, so there is no efficacy claims. There are patients who experience improved appearance of certain skin conditions. SEE INDICATIONS
14. What is HydroLotion®? HydroLotion® is a special fractionated petrolatum product that is the final aftercare phase in the β-LIFTx® kit. It is an ideal daily facial and body moisturizer that protects skin from environmental damage as well as a post procedural moisturizer. HydroLotion® delivers the benefits of an exceptionally rich and uniquely elegant "water-in-oil" emulsion deep into the skin without greasiness, tackiness, or the use of emulsifiers, which can cause further damage to sensitive skin. HydroLotion® refreshes and hydrates skin, leaving it noticeably softer and smoother. We also stock the 8 oz. size for patient resale.
