In the last decade we have seen extreme advancements in technology. Look around and consider what you might even be holding in your hand right now; a rectangular device with no buttons that's made of metal, glass, and plastic. This device holds all the power. Your calendar, email messages, text messages, contacts, pictures, and documents are all in this device. Of course, I'm talking about our phones.
Phones are the best example of how far technology has come. We are clearly living in the future that many people in the past only dreamt of. With advanced technology comes greater access to innovative devices, software, and machines.
As many of you know 3D printing and milling machines are now commonplace in the dental industry, and the technology available to labs will continue to proliferate in the future. This is great news for us because making dentures has become much easier. 3Shape has a software called 'Denture Design' and with this software we can scan and design a denture. But to use this software, you must have a license called the 'Full Denture Module'. Once you have these two, then you can follow the guideline below to successfully build your denture within 3Shape.
